Well it has been quite a while since my last post, and I have been busy with everything except for running. I am happy to say that I am cycling to work again on a full time basis. My knee/leg still bother me on occasion especially the week of the final playoffs as the Canucks were in the finals, did quite a few fast hard rides home, NOT good for the injury, to make sure I was home in time for the majority of the game. I have been running on the weekends a bit and back to doing the grind again, once so far, as it just opened 2 weeks ago. I feel it is time to start cranking up the training again and see how things hold up. I'm sure my leg will be quick to tell me if I'm pushing to hard or to much.
It's the weekend of the Western States 100 www.WS100.com it can be followed on the web site. Next weekend the Tour De France starts Saturday morning for the month of July, very much looking forward to it, as I always watch as much as possible every year, as much as work allows me anyway.
Happy to say I am wrapping up a lot of the house work, and by house work I mean major renos, a little bit of painting and some minor projects left to complete. All just in time to enjoy the summer, as summer weather is finally arriving. Well I leave it at that for now, hope that I can get on here from time to time now that its more than just work, work, cycling and work.
